Woman CPI (Maoist) activist nabbed
Bokaro, Aug 1 (UNI) Security personnel have arrested a hardcore CPI(Maoist) woman ultra from Kasmar police station area in Jharkhand's Bokaro district.
In a separate raid police also recovered a cane bomb and two hand grenades from Gomia police station area in the district.
Superintendent of Police Manvinder Singh Bhatia today said acting on a tip off police raided Kasmar locality and arrested 22-year-old Sangita.
She was involved in the attack on Bokaro-Jharia police stations a few months back in which four security personnel were killed.
Besides, she carried out a number of operations, mainly attacks on security forces at Shakti Punj Express in 2003.
Mr Bhatia said in another incident police recovered a cane bomb, used for preparing land mines, and two hand grenades in between Dadhpania and Rangamayi locality under Gomia police station of the district.
