Seven persons including a women killed and 7 injured in lightening

Ranchi, Aug 1 (UNI) At least seven people, including a women were killed and seven others injured when lightning struck them at two separate districts of Jharkhand today.

Four labourers were killed and seven others injured at Rosoia Dhama village under Chauparan police station area in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district.

According to police they were engaged in construction of a roof this afternoon when the lightning struck.

Another report from Bokaro said lightning struck a couple while they were walking at Tupkadih village in the district.

A man working in field also fell victim to the lightning at Omro village in Bokaro.

The injured in Hazaribag were admitted to Barahi hospital.
