Seven killed, 7 injured in lightening

Ranchi, Aug 1 (UNI) At least seven people, were killed and seven injured when lightening struck at two districts of Jharkhand today.

Four labourers were killed and seven others injured at Rosoia Dhama village in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district.

According to the police they were engaged in construction of a roof this afternoon when the lightening struck.

Another report from Bokaro said lightening struck a couple while they were walking at Tupkadih village in the district.

A man working in a field also fell victim to the lightening at Omro village in Bokaro.

The injured in Hazaribag were admitted to Barahi hospital.
