Maruti announces marginal price hike up to 1.47 pc
Mumbai, Aug 01 (UNI) Maruti Udyog Ltd has announced a marginal increase in the prices of certain models varying from 0.17 per cent to 1.47 per cent effective today.
Announcing the price hike, the company's press release to BSE said the price increase is due to rise in input costs and freight costs, which increased following the rise in oil prices.
In this phase, the company has decided to pass on only a part of the increase in costs to the customers.
There is no change in the prices of Swift, Zen, Baleno (Vxi) and WagonR (Petrol).
