Israel to resume full air strikes in Lebanon
JERUSALEM, Aug 1 (Reuters) Israel will resume full air strikes against Hizbollah guerrillas in Lebanon early tomorrow, once a 48-hour partial suspension of aerial activity has passed, Justice Minister Haim Ramon said today.
Speaking on Channel 10 television, Ramon said the Israeli air force planned to resume full operations from 0100 hrs tomorrow (0330 hrs). The Israeli army had said the suspension of aerial bombardment ended at 0200 hrs.
Ramon said Israel was making real progress against Hizbollah which he said was at ''breaking point'', adding that an expanded ground offensive should bring victory.
''With a little patience and a lot of determination ... we shall win this campaign,'' he said.
