Indian Army officer died in Ethiopia

Rajgarh(MP), Aug 1(UNI) Major Deobrat Singh Khinchi, who was posted on special duty in Ethiopia on peace keeping mission, died there yesterday following brain haemorrhage. He was 35.

The scion of erstwhile Khilchipur royal family is survived by his wife and a daughter, who were with him.

His younger brother and Congress MLA Priyabrat Singh Khinchi left for Ethiopia yesterday to bring the body for final rites at Khilchipur tomorrow, the family sources said.

Major Deobrat was anointed heir to the royal family following the death of his father Bharatendra Singh 15 years ago.
