Five injured after container overturns over two cars in South delhi

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) Five persons were injured when a container overturned in the C R Park area of South Delhi trapping two four wheelers under its weight.

Two four wheelers were trapped under the heavy container, which overturned at 2345 hours last night near Savitri cinema, police said.

It took several hours to rescue the occupants of the four wheelers, including a Honda city and an Indica, from under the container, they said.

While three persons travelling in the Honda city recieved minor injuries, the two occupants of Indica were admitted in a serious state in AIIMS.

Of the other three, two were admitted to Apollo hospital.

Efforts are on to nab the driver of the container who fled after the accident, police said.
