Cong for details of reopened riot cases before Nanavati panel

Ahmedabad, Aug 1 (UNI) The Congress today filed an application before the Godhra inquiry Commission, pleading that details of all 2002 Gujarat riot cases reopened on the orders of the Supreme Court, be submitted to the Commission for perusal.

It also said a copy of the report of the review cell committee should be made available to the Commission.

Advocate Hiralal Gupta said the panel should also be apprised of all details about departmental action taken against 55 police officers.
