Air Marshal Burma new incharge of Vayu Bhawan

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) Air Marshal Jyoti Narayan Burma today took over as Air Officer-in-Charge (Administration) of IAF at Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhawan), here.

Commissioned in Administration branch in the IAF in 1972, Air Mshl Burma was decorated with Ati Vishisth Seva Medal in January this year.

He also received the Vishisth Seva Medal and Commendation by Chief of the Air Staff for his distinguished and meritorious service.

Before his present appointment, Air Mshl Burma was Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Air Force Works) at Air HQ.

In his career, he has held the appointments of Senior Air Traffic Controller Officer, commanded the 951 Transportable GCA Squadron, functioned as Joint Director (Operations) Air Traffic Services and Director (Operations) Air Traffic Services at Air HQ.
