Theyyam artist gets Sree Guruvayoorappan Award

Thrissur, July 31 (UNI) Noted Theyyam artist T P Kannan has been selected for the 34th Sree Guruvayoorappan Award instituted by the Guruvayoor Devaswom to promote temple arts.

The award carries a purse of Rs 10,001 and a citation.

It will be presented at a cultural meeting here on September 14.
