Tata Power Q1 net up by 2.91 pc to Rs 122 cr

Mumbai, July 31 (UNI) Tata Power Company Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 121.85 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 118.40 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, an increase of 2.91 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 1,130.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, to Rs 1,417.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
