Sun TV Q1 net spurs 52 pc to Rs 42.23 crore

Mumbai, July 31 (UNI) Sun TV Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 42.23 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 27.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, an increase of 51.96 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income increased from Rs 74.68 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 99.04 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
