Seven of family brutally murdered

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) In a macabre incident, seven members of a family, including five children, were allegedly hacked to death in Inderlok Area of North Delhi.

Om Prakash, his wife Santosh, four daughters -- Dolly, Pooja, Kavita and Manju and son Anuj were found dead at their 'D' Block residence in Inderlok this morning, according to sources.

Meanwhile, police have detained a neighbour and are questioning him.

While the children, with their necks slashed, were found on the first floor, the couple was found on the ground floor of their house.

It was an act of murder and we are investigating, said a senior police official.

Om Prakash, who had a cardboard business, was visited, last night, by his brother and other family members. Until then everything was normal, said family sources.
