Lawyer's wife stabbed; cash, jewellery worth lakhs robbed

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) Four armed men today allegedly robbed several lakhs from a house in Sarita Vihar area of South Delhi, after stabbing two persons.

While Satish, uncle of advocate Gaurav Chandok who practices at Patiala House Court here, was discharged from the hospital, his wife Lata Chandok (35) has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences soon after the incident this afternoon, according to sources.

While family sources said jewellery and cash worth more than ten lakhs were looted at knife point, police said the robbery was not more than 2-3 lakhs.

A mobile phone was also taken by the intruders, who were said to be between 20-25 years of age.
