Jogi alleges foul play in railway exam
Raipur, July 31: Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi today demanded cancellation of the recently conducted group 'D' examination by South East Central Railway (SECR), alleging irregularities and favouritism.
Addressing a press conference here, he said nearly 80,000 candidates had appeared in the examination in which only seven percent candidates from Chhattisgarh could get through.
Mr Jogi wondered how 56 per cent of candidates from Bihar had cleared the examination while only a megre percentage of candidates from progressive states like Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal could clear the examination.
He demanded that the examinations be cancelled and reconducted so that the youth from Chhattisgarh get due representation in the railways.
