'Indian' offers discount on select routes
New Delhi, Jul 31: Indian (Airlines) today announced over 70 per cent discount on select air routes from six metro cities during August and September which are generally classified as a lean period.
Under its Spot Fares scheme, passengers travelling from Delhi to Mumbai will have to pay Rs 3,205 against the normal fare of Rs 10,240. Others routes will cost: Delhi-Bangalore Rs 3,705 (against full fare of Rs 14,600), Delhi-Kolkata Rs 3,105 (Rs 11,590), Chennai-Hyderabad Rs 2,205 (Rs 6,745) and Ahmedabad-Mumbai Rs 1,805 (Rs 5,580).
The fares include all taxes and fuel surcharge. But Spot Fares will be available on X-class (economy) fares or Unchecked Fares on select flights a few hours before departures.
