Hinduja TMT Q1 net profit stands at Rs 167 crore

Mumbai, July 31 (UNI) Hinduja TMT Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 167.05 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 10.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income is Rs 285.01 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as against Rs 41.14 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. The figures related to the quarter ended June 30, 2006 are strictly not comparable to the corresponding previous quarter, since the Manila Branch commenced operations with effect from October 01, 2005.
