Chhattisgarh BJP Chief missing, alleges Congress
Raipur, July 31 (UNI) Congress legislators today alleged in the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha that state BJP president Shiv Pratap Singh was ''missing'' ever since he resigned as Vice-Chairman of the Sarguja and Northern Tribal Area Development Authority.
Raising the issue during zero hour, Mr Ravindra Choubey (Congress) said it was a serious matter as Mr Singh had termed the development authority as a 'white elephant'.
He demanded a discussion on a notice for adjournment motion on the issue.
Dr Shakrajit Nayak (Cong) said Mr Singh was missing ever since he quit the development authority post. ''Mr Singh is a member of the legislative assembly. Since he has levelled certain allegations while resigning, he should be given a chance to make his stand clear within the house'', Dr Nayak added.
