Century Textiles Q1 net up 56 pc to Rs 69.73 crore

Mumbai, July 31 (UNI) Century Textiles&Industries Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 69.73 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 46.10 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, an increase of 56.25 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 671.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 734.32 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
