Uttaranchal Govt to build Kumbh Park between Hardwar and Rishikesh
Hardwar, July 30 (UNI) The Uttaranchal government has decided to build a vast Kumbh Park between Hardwar and Rishikesh with an estimated cost of Rs 135 crore.
The vice president of State Sanskrit Academy and vice chancellor of the Uttaranchal Sanskrit University here Brahm Swaroop Brahmchari told UNI the proposed Kumbh Park would showcase the rich and multi-dimensional cultural heritage of the country, specially of Uttaranchal.
''One of the main attraction of the park will be the depiction of the different mythological legends associated with the Kumbh melas by means of sate of art technologies,'' Mr Brahmchari informed.
Sources say state Chief Minister N D Tiwari is likely to make an announcement about the setting up of this culture park, which will be unique in the country, in his independence day speech on August 15.
