Thundershowers likely in coastal AP

Hyderabad, July 30 (UNI) Rains occurred at few places over Telangana and in isolated areas over Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

However, weather has been dry over Rayalaseema, according to cyclone warning centre here today.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours the centre said.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded during last 24 hours in cm are: Mudhol, Navipet, Venkatapuram 3 each, Nizamabad, Armoor, Banswada, Bheemgal, Bodhan, Kamareddy and Nizamsagar, Eturnagaram , Narayanakhed, Paderu , Parvathipuram and Salur 2 each and Araku Valley&Chintapalli, Ichapuram , Karimnagar, Metpalli&Sircilla Madnoor, Mulugu and Parkal , Nirmal, Vizianagaram one each, the centre addded.
