Taiwan firm quotes lower price in B'desh sugar tender

DHAKA, July 30 (Reuters) Taiwan-based Accord Tex Industrial Co. Ltd. made a lower offer of 4 per tonne in a Bangladesh tender to import 12,500 tonnes of white sugar for shipment by Sept. 7 on three months' deferred payment, a trader said on Sunday.

The only other bidder in the tender issued by state-owned Trading Corp. of Bangladesh (TCB) was France-based Sucden, which offered 6.74 per tonne, the trader said, adding the TCB would announce its decision soon.
