Punjab not to raise retirement age
Jalandhar, July 30 (UNI) Punjab Finance Minister Surinder Singla today ruled out the possibility of raising of the state government employees' retirement age from present 58 to 60 years.
Talking to reporters here today Mr Singla said that the state government had no such proposal at hand.
He said that neither the issue was in the ruling Congress' election manifesto nor the raising of retirement age was in the interest of young job aspirants.
