Ponnappa elected President of Bangalore Press Club

Bangalore, July 30 (UNI) Mr M A Ponnappa, a journalist working with 'Prajavani' Kannada newspaper, was today elected unopposed as the president of Press Club of Bangalore.

In the annual elections held here, the elected office bearers were Messrs B Harishchandra Bhat (Vice-President), N S Shankara (General Secretary), Y S L Swamy (Secretary) and Keshav Vitla (Treasurer).

The Managing Committeee members were Ms Shashiprabha Hiremath, Ms Shanthamma, Mr Gudihalli Nagaram, Mr S Chandrashekar Rao, Mr Basavaraju and Mr K S Somashekhar.
