PM Zia to attend emergency OIC summit in Malaysia

Dhaka, July 30: Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is likely to attend an emergency OIC summit in Kuala Lumpur on August 3 as the Muslim nations meet to discuss the crisis in Lebanon and Gaza.

The Prime Minister will leave on August 2. Heads of state and government from 18 major Muslim countries are expected to attend this emergency summit.

Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan today said people in the Muslim world are looking at OIC for some kind of action in the wake of Israeli agression on Lebanon and Gaza.
