NCRPB to give fresh proposal to connect NCR with IRBTS

New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) The Centre has asked the National Capital Region Planning Board to give fresh proposals to improve connectivity between Delhi and the surrounding cities after taking into account the terminal points of the metro.

The NCRPB had prepared a proposal to connect the capital with Gurgaon and Ghaziabad through the Integrated Rail-cum-Bus Transport System, official sources said.

However, after the recent proposals to connect them via the metro, it was decided that the board should prepare fresh proposals to improve connectivity taking into account the extensions and terminal points of the Delhi Metro.

A task force had been especially constituted to nail detailed proposals.

Time frame for implementing the proposals could be defined only after final revised proposals had been received.
