Muslims take to streets against Israeli bombing of Lebanon
Varanasi, July 30 (UNI) A large number of Muslims carried out a protest march here today against the Israeli bombing of Lebanon and demanded that the UPA government work in tandem with United Nations to put an early end to the pounding.
The march under the banner of Anjuman Gulistan Mustafa saw Muslims aged from 12 to 80 years protest the Israeli attack. The march which started from Kacchi Sarai culminated at Benia Bag after traversing through Nai Chowk, Chattatale, Nariyal Bazar and Dalmandi.
Addressing the meeting the Muslim leaders including Shah Alam and Shahid Ali Khan 'Munna' demanded that the UPA government work in tandem with the UN to put an end to Israeli bombing, which was an ''inhuman act.'' UNI ARS AD L[1943
