Man kills widow 'bhabhi' over property dispute

Mahoba, July 30 (UNI) A man allegedly murdered his widow 'bhabhi' (sister-in-law) in Srinagar area over property dispute here.

Police yesterday said Kesaria of village Sijaria was attacked with 'lathis' by her brother-in-law Suresh resulting in her instant death. The body was later dumped in a pit.

However, Kesaria's eight-year-old daughter Sita, who was witness to the crime, spilled the beans and the police were informed.

The accused is absconding.

Kesaria and Suresh were fighting a property case after the death of her husband Virendra Rajput, which is said to be the main reason behind the killing.

A manhunt had been launched to nab the culprit.
