Mah BJP executive meet on Aug 5-6 in Pune
Mumbai, July 30 (UNI) A two day meeting of the Maharashtra BJP executive committee will take place in Pune from August five to dicuss the party's strategy for the upcoming local bodies elections, organisational matters, price rise and the prevailing political scenario in the state.
Party general secretary Vinod Tawde said about 400 delegates are expected to participate in the two day deliberations at Harshal Hall situated on Karve Road,Kothrud.
The state unit officebearers will meet a day earlier on August four to fix the agenda of the two day meeting.
BJP president Rajnath Singh will be present at the meeting on August six and the meeting will conclude with his valecdictory speech.
Mr Tawde said the party will discuss the preparations for the ''mini assembly election'' where 27 zilla parishads, 308 gram panchayats, 160 municipal councils and 14 corporations will go to polls. ''we want to get maximum candidates of our party elected'', he added.
The organisational elections in the party will be completed by next month. An economic and political resolutions will be passed on the occasion. The party plans to organise a massive anti-price rise rally soon. A resolution expressing concern on the growing terrorist activities will be passed.
