Five killed in two road accidents
Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, July 30 (UNI) Five persons were killed and eight others seriously injured in two different road accidents in the district during the wee hours today.
According to police three persons were killed on the spot and five others injured when a speeding auto lost control and collided with a bus near the district courts.
The injured were admitted to the local government hospital where the condition of three was stated to be serious.
Police said over loading and speeding caused the accident.
In the other accident, two persons were killed and three others seriously injured when a speeding three wheeler hit a stationary lorry near Madhira, during the early hours. While one person died on the spot, the other died in the hospital.
