Drug addict kills 60-year old father

Fatehgarh Sahib, July 30 (UNI) In a gruesome incident a drug addict son allegedly killed his father in Nanowal village in the district on friday night, police said.

Baldev Singh (60), a drug addict was attacked with an iron rod while asleep by his 24-year old son Kulwinder, who was also addicted to drugs. After killing his father, Kulwinder alongwith his mother ran away from the house.

On the statement of the victim's brother Sukhdev Singh, the Amloh police has registered a case against Kulwinder Singh.
