Dacoits loot Defence Minister's nephew's house

Dhantala(Nadia), July 30 (UNI) Six miscreants forcefully entered a house in Shivnarayanpur under Dhantala police station in Nadia district and looted valuables worth Rs 50,000 before escaping.

The incident occurred in the wee hours today.

A FIR has been lodged with the police.

Incidentally, the victim, Mr Sumanta Mukherjee, is the nephew of Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee, police said.
