Circuit bench work to begin on August Four

Bangalore, July 30 (UNI) Karnataka Public Works Department Minister H D Revanna today said that the construction work of the High Court benches in Dharwad and Gulbarga would begin on August four.

He told newsmen here yesterday that the circuit bench in Dharwad would be located at Water And Land Management Institute (WALMI) while Gulbagra bench would be located at the Housing Board Colony.

The total cost of each bench is estimated to be around Rs 65 crore, he said adding that the construction will be completed in 18 months. The decision was taken after a meeting with the High Court Chief Justice Cyriac Joseph and Home Minister M P Prakash, he added.
