Two cheetals runover by train

Umaria, MP, July 29 (UNI) Two cheetals (spotted deer) were killed when they were run over by a speeding train last night near Chandia Lodha area at Katni-Umaria railway track in this district, railway sources said today.

On receiving information, railway and forest department officials reached the spot. The carcass of the animals were sent for necropsy.

Bandhavgarh National Park is about 35 km from the site of accident. Park sources denied that the cheetals belonged to the park.
