Tele-serial acting lands Police officer in trouble
Thiruvananthapuram, July 29 (UNI) Acting in a tele-serial landed an Inspector General of Police (Vigilance and Security), Kerala State Electricity Board, in trouble.
Lok Ayukta Justice Sreedharan and Upa Lok Ayukta Justice Krishnan Nair issued the direction yesterday to take action against the police officer for acting in a tele-serial without prior permission from the authorities.
In a private petition, Satish Kumar, a LLB student alleged that the police officer was acting in a serial without prior permission from the government, which was a violation of the All India Civil Service Rules.
Though the police officer had sought permission for acting in a tele-serial, he was denied permissioon.
The Lok Ayukta criticised the government for not initiating action against the officer.
