TCI Q1 FY07 net up by 28pc

New Delhi, July 29 (UNI) Supply chain solutions provider Transport Corporation of India Ltd (TCI) today announced a 28 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 401 lakh for the first quarter ending June 30, 2006, as against Rs 313 lakh in the corresponding period last year.

The company, however, posted a 24 per cent growth in its net sales at Rs 23,267 lakh for the quarter, as compared to Rs 18,816 lakh during same period last year.
