Subodh Jaiswal, Parmvir Singh shifted to ATS

Mumbai, July 28 (UNI) Additional Commissioner of Police Subodh Jaiswal of Central Region, who had earlier headed the Special Task Force to investigate the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam, has been transferred to the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), which is probing the July 11 serial blasts case.

Mr Jaiswal was among the 16 top police officials who were today transferred by the Maharashtra government.

Paramvir Singh, who is currently Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), was also transferred to ATS as Additional CP.

ATS Addl CP J J Singh has been transferred as DIG (Administration) in Mumbai, replacing the present DIG (Administration) Rajnish Seth who will assume charge as Addl CP, Central Region of the Mumbai Police.

Surinder Kumar, who is the current Addl CP (Protection and Security), has been transferred as DIG (Prison) in Nagpur. K L Bishnoi, who is the Addl CP (Economic Offences), has been transferred as Addl CP East region of Mumbai Police.
