RJD flays Shahnawaz for his statement on Lalu

Patna, July 29 (UNI) The RJD today took strong exception to the BJP leader Shahnawaj Hussain's statement that terrorism could not be controlled as long as leaders like Lalu Prasad and Mulayam Singh Yadav continued to be in politics.

In a release, national general secretary of the RJD Shyam Rajak alleged that Mr Hussain was making such statement to please 'Sangh Pariwar' with the sole motive of getting party ticket in Bhagalpur Lok Sabha by-election.

He alleged that despite being a member of the minority community, Mr Hussain had stooped to the level of opposing reservation to the section only to keep his top brass in the party in good humour.

'' Morale of the terrorist got tremendous boost during the NDA rule at the Centre, when government had freed dreaded terrorists for release of Indian Airlines passengers, made captive at Kandhar aiprport, '' he said adding, the terrorists were sent along with the then Foreign Minister in the same aeroplane.
