Rice leaves Malaysia for Mideast diplomacy drive
Kuala Lumpur, July 29: US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice left Malaysia today, returning to the W Asia on a new diplomatic drive to end 18 days of fighting between Israel and Hizbollah.
Her first stop will be Israel, where Rice will meet Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and senior members of his cabinet to discuss proposals included in a U N resolution expected to be presented in New York next week.
She will also hold talks with Lebanon's Prime Minister, Fouad Siniora.
