Police raids RJD MLA's house to arrest criminals
Gaya, July 29 (UNI) Police today raided RJD MLA Surendra Yadav 's residence and picked up 13 persons for security reasons.
Police Superintendent Amit Kumar Jain said here that the raid was conducted following information about some miscreants who assembled at Mr Yadav's residence this morning.
All 13 persons are interrogated at Rampur police station, Mr Jain said.
He said Mr Yadav, an MLA from Belaganj constituency, rang him up last night and informed about the threat calls made by some unknown callers on his mobile.
The raid was a part of the security exercise, Mr Jain added.
Meanwhile, Mr Yadav, who was not present at his residence during the raid, alleged that the NDA government was trying to harass him.
