Monsoon continues to be active over Kerala and Lakshadweep

Thiruvananthapuram, July 29 (UNI) The South-West Monsoon continued to be active over Kerala and Lakshadweep with Munnar reporting a heavy rainfall of seven cm.

Kochi Internatonal Airport, Alathur, Wadakkancherry, Chalakkudi, Kodungallur and Kanjirappally received three cm each rainfall.

Alappuzha, Kunnamkulam, Thrissur, Ottapalam, Perinthalmanna, Thodupuzha and Perumbavoor recorded two cm each.

The local Met office said rain may occur in many places in Kerala and Lakshadweep and isolated heavy rain in some places in the next 48 hours.
