Bangalore, July 29 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today.

Monsoon was weak over Coastal Karnataka.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall amounts (cm): Londa 8.

Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Nilkund, Yellapura, Khanapur 6 each; Sulya, Kadra, Siddapura (both Uttara Kannada dt), Humchadakatte 4 each; Sirsi, Joida, Nippani, Belgaum, Bhagamandala, Somwarpet. Sakleshpura, Arkalgud 3 each; Belthangadi, Siddapura( both Udupi dt), Mundagod, Haliyal, Chikodi, Haunsbhavi, Chincholi, Yadgir, Manvi, Sagar, Thirthahalli, Madikeri, Sandur, H.B.Halli, B.Durga 2 each.

Forecast valid until Monday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin:Moderate to heavy rain likely to occur at many places over all districts of Coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over Belgaum, Dharwad, Haveri, Gulbarga, Bidar districts of North Interior Karnataka and Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Shimoga, districts of South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and Chitradurga, Bellary, Davanagere, Hassan districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over remaining districts of South Interior Karnataka.
