LF to observe Hirosima and Nagasaki day

Kolkata, July 29 (UNI) The ruling Left Front government has decided to observe Hirosima and Nagasaki day throughout the state on August 6 and 9.

''We have instructed all the Front's mass organisations to observe the Hirosima day on August six and Nagasaki day on August nine,'' LF chairman and CPI(M) state secretary Biman Bose told newspersons here yesterday.

Mr Bose said, ''Since a proxy war was continuing throughout the world, so we are urging several cultural and educational organisations to organise a convention against it on August 15.
