Jagran Prakashan's Q1 FY07 net up by 433 pc
New Delhi, July 29 (UNI) Jagran Prakashan Ltd (JPL), one of the largest media companies in India, today posted 433 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 22.89 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, as against Rs 4.29 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
JPL reported 20 per cent growth in its net revenue at Rs 136.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 114.05 crore for the same period during last fiscal, a company statement said.
Earning Per Share (EPS) of the company also increased from Rs 1.13 in Q1 FY06 to Rs 4.56 in Q1 FY07, recording an increase of 303.53 per cent.
