Israeli air strike on Lebanese house kills 7

BEIRUT, July 29 (Reuters) An Israeli air strike on a house in Lebanon killed a woman and six children, Lebanese medical sources said today.

The strike took place in the village of Nmeiriya in southern Lebanon. The sources said the woman was the mother of five of the children. The other victim was the child of neighbours.

Israel's bombardment of Lebanon in its war with Hizbollah has killed at least 469 people, mainly civilians. Fifty-one Israelis have been killed.
