Explosion at Turkish barracks causes injuries
ISTANBUL, July 29 (Reuters) An explosion hit a military barracks in Turkey's southeastern province Van today and injured a number of people, the state news agency Anatolian reported.
No further details were available.
The army is often attacked by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) which has been fighting for autonomy in the mainly Kurdish southeast for two decades.
