CM directs Municipal Develop to complete underground dranage

Hyderabad, Jul 29 (UNI)Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy directed the Public Health Engineering department under Municipal and Urban Development department to complete the underground drainage in all Municipalities in the next two and half years.

Reviewing the activities of Public Health engineering department with senior officials of MA and UD and finance department, he said provision of drinking water was the prime responsibility of the government in all the municipalities and steps had to be taken to achieve this goal.

The Chief Minister has assured all necessary support from the government and directed to achieve the desired targets in next three years.

While appreciating the efforts made by the department in last two and half years, the Chief Minister agreed to give additional revolving bulk guarantee of Rs 300 crore for raising loan from HUDCO to expidite ongoing schemes and to take up new schemes.
