CAB polls could be held on 118 votes
Kolkata, July 29 (UNI) As things stand today the CAB polls might be held tomorrow with 118 ballots, as the division bench of High Court reserved its verdict on the injunction on South Suburban representative's casting the ballots in the polls.
Debashis Ganguly had got an injunction from Alipur Court on South Suburban's representative Nirmal Mukherjee from casting his ballot.
The matter was challenged before a division bench of the high court who reserved their verdict till Monday.
Thus the matter of injuction was passed to the CAB which in turn will forward it to election observer S K Phouzdar.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt that around 12 votes have been withdrawn from the Working Committee nominations.
