Bank manager shot dead

Shahjahanpur, July 29 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants shot dead a Bank of Baroda (BOB) branch manager here.

Police said yesterday the assailants shot Madnapur BOB branch manager R S Meena, when he was going to his bank on a motorcycle.

He was accompanied by the bank peon, who, however, escaped unhurt. Meena was attacked, when he resisted the loot bid.

A case had been registered and a manhunt launched.
