Allahabad Bank net profit dips at Rs 128.25 cr

Kolkata, Jul 29 (UNI) Allahabad Bank has registered an operating profit of Rs 207.43 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year.

A release of the Bank said here that the net profit of the Bank in this quarter was Rs 128.25 crore compared to Rs 162.98 crore in the corresponding period last year.

However, the business of the Bank crossed Rs 80,000 crore mark at June end 2006, the release said.

The total deposits also grew by 17.98 per cent during July 2005-06 (Year on year basis).
